PianoWiz
Learn piano, key by key
A sheet-music piano trainer that listens. Open a built-in piece or upload your own, and PianoWiz guides you key by key, advancing only when it hears the right note — or the right chord — from your piano.

How it plays
The score is drawn on screen with a cursor on the next note, the on-screen keyboard shows which keys to press and with which finger, and the microphone listens. Correct notes turn green; a wrong note is marked and you try again. Pick a hand, a bar range or a handful of notes to drill, and loop them.
Bring your own music
Upload MusicXML, MIDI, or even a PDF or photo of printed sheet music — the server reads the notation with optical music recognition. Your uploads are kept in a personal library you can open on another device with a share code.
Hear it first
Press Play to hear the selected passage on a sampled grand piano at any tempo, with the cursor following along. Suggested fingering is worked out for every note and printed on the score.
What it tests
Whether a phone or laptop microphone can stand in for a teacher’s ear. The listener filters out room noise, voices and whistles, checks every note of a chord, and ignores the app’s own playback.
